My name is Daniel Clark and I’m the founder of Spiritual Performance. I was born and raised in the pine barrens of New Jersey. During the countless hours I spent exploring a small patch of woods near my house, I slowly began to become aware that my soul’s quest in life would be to become a student of Nature.

In my youth, I was accomplished in multiple martial arts, most notably being a state runner-up and D1 athlete in the sport of wrestling, achieving a bronze medal in the UWW world grappling championships, and holding a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

At the University of Virginia, I earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and archaeology. After my formal education ended, I spent my career leading up to the launch of Spiritual Performance as a personal trainer, nutrition coach, gym owner, and eventually a master instructor and curriculum developer for an international fitness organization.

In my free time, I continued to intuitively venture into the wilderness to escape the pressures of culture and learn about life directly from the source. I eventually moved to a remote homestead in New Mexico and began making my work with Nature my profession. Spiritual Performance is the synthesis of my work and my offerings thus far.

In my personal life, I enjoy reading, movement, fly fishing, and working with my wife on our home and landscape.
